i have finally decided to stop procrastinating and finish up my hong kong trip post.
the day after we reached, we were on our way to Shenzhen but we saw this JUST a stone throw's away from where we stayed.


H&M (: and it was mega huge of 4 storeys full of clothes and accessories

the train ride to shenzhen took nearly 1hr excluding the half an hour to cross China's immigration. -__-




lunch was at a restaurant in Shenzhen which had super good and cheap food. anyone who's dropping by shenzhen should try this restaurant. plus that's me and my aunt!


after 6hrs of non stop shopping, we did our final stop for a pedicure before going back to hong kong island. and if you cannot tell, i was really fed up with the china people at the train station.
then next day was breakfast at krispy kreme!




after having the real krispy kreme, i don't think i'd ever wanna try eating singapore's doughnuts again.
and then after going back to another round of h&m, we went back for home cooked lunch!

then, we went to check out other shopping places and the sister bought even MORE stuff




at the IFC central. there was Juicy Couture, Lucky brand jeans, lane crawford, Palace IFC which is the box office.
and then, we stopped to eat again

and we shopped even more before heading off for dinner at

and erm...well, the sister and i decided to have another round of dessert at



lovely lovely macaroonssss! ohmygod. they were sooo delicious and not too sweet! happiness (:
the next day, we decided to do some sight seeing. at least it wouldn't burn a hole in our wallets for one day. we headed down to Lantau Island by ferry and then by bus.



First we stopped at Tai O which is a small little village that apparently had recommended Soy bean curd. and well...we ATE again. hehe

the more sight seeing. have NO idea what that means


this is apparently the Wisdom of Path. so now i hope i'm slightly smarter. hahah

the sister and i. our colors are nicely contrasted!
and then we went to take the famous Cable car! i was really unwilling initially because i thought it'd be a bloody waste of time like Singapore's one. like HOW long can the ride be right? but ohmygosh. i was so wrong. the view was superb and wicked cool!

and that's a very happy me (:
and then when we got back to hong kong island, we well...EAT again!

the next night, virn reached hk! and we headed down to watch the Guiness World Record Symphony of lights


Mong kok was the next stop


and it was swamped with people. scary merry


with cousin Grace. didn't know she existed until i was in hk. oops!
by night, we visited Avenue of Stars.

Macau and Zhuhai was the next stop. lunch was at Zhuhai (china) and one of the dishes was..

a baby bird. welcome to Fear factor. apparently it's good for complexion and for the skin. i seriously cannot see any relevance to that
Macau's Venice was impressive! it's still expensive shopping but the inside was grand and we even tried our hands at the casino. heh

after which, we sat down to rest and tried this Tiramisu of which...virn and i finished it before snapping it.

got back to the hotel which was ULTRA nice! to think that we all geared up to prepare for the worse night of our lives.




and a very happy virn.
the last few days was also spent shopping and we did the final day sight seeing and eating and eating.

we took the erm.. cable bus and toured Hong kong.
there was a family dinner at home that day and i believe everyone had such a swell time catching up an also met up with another cousin i haven't seen for years. she even gave me a new shirt. heh

finally it was time to leave..

apparently, the sister continued to do her shopping at the airport while i was too tired to move.




and after belted up, we had another round of eating to do. but SQ's food was damn nice! there's even Haagen-Daz and Singapore sling. lovely!
and as i said, singapore's weather was hot as hell. i didn't even sweat one bit while i was in hk. i was sooo tired that i had to sleep one whole day.
but nonetheless, Hong kong was fun but tiring. now, it's time to think of where to go next! (:
